Job Overview
The Beverage Production Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining the manufacturing processes that produce Coca‑Cola’s flagship drinks at the Maseru facility. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine beverage production processes to achieve optimal yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with food safety standards and internal specifications.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, downtime, energy consumption, and waste generation.
- Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process validation reports.
- Support new product introductions by designing pilot runs and scaling up to full production.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure all processes adhere to local regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability goals.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proficiency in statistical tools.
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB) and PLC control systems.
- Knowledge of food‑grade hygiene standards, HACCP, and ISO 22000.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and deliver results under pressure.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
Education
