Job Overview

The Mine Safety Trainer will design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive safety training programs for all mine personnel, including operators, supervisors, and contractors. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update training curricula covering mine safety, emergency response, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct classroom and hands‑on training sessions for new hires, seasonal workers, and experienced staff.
• Assess training effectiveness through tests, simulations, and on‑site observations, and produce detailed performance reports.
• Collaborate with HSE managers to integrate safety lessons learned from incident investigations into training modules.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation in accordance with Lesotho mining regulations.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to supervisors to reinforce safety leadership on the ground.
