Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize mineral processing circuits to maximize recovery rates and concentrate quality.
• Conduct detailed metallurgical balance calculations and performance monitoring.
• Design and implement pilot-scale testing programs for new ore bodies.
• Collaborate with the mining team to manage ore blending and feed consistency.
• Oversee reagent consumption and optimize chemical dosage in flotation circuits.
• Troubleshoot complex processing issues to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processes.
• Proficiency in metallurgical modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Strong project management capabilities and technical reporting skills.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is mandatory. A Master’s degree in Mineral Processing or a related field is highly preferred for this senior-level position.

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 5 to 7 years of direct experience in mineral processing within a large-scale mining operation. Proven experience in troubleshooting flotation and leaching circuits is essential. Experience working in remote locations is a significant advantage for this role.

Salary
