Job Overview
The Cloud Infrastructure Manager will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS cloud environments for enterprise clients in Lesotho and the broader Southern Africa region. Reporting to the Regional Cloud Services Director, you will oversee a team of engineers, coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure that cloud solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards. This role involves strategic planning, capacity management, cost optimization, and the development of best practices for cloud migration and operations. You will act as a technical advisor to customers, guiding them through complex architectural decisions and helping them leverage AWS services to achieve business objectives. The position also includes responsibility for incident response, disaster recovery planning, and continuous improvement of service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures for enterprise customers.
- Lead a team of cloud engineers, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and technical guidance.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance, security policies, and compliance frameworks aligned with local regulations.
- Manage capacity planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with sales, solution architects, and partner networks to drive cloud adoption and revenue growth.
- Oversee incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of service reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and best‑practice guides for cloud operations.
- Collaborate with regional data centers to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Stay current with emerging AWS services and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization concepts.

Education

Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience managing large‑scale cloud environments, preferably within a multinational technology organization. Salary
