Job Overview

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Supervisor will lead a team of engineers and analysts responsible for real‑time monitoring, fault detection, and resolution of Airtel’s core network services. Reporting to the NOC Manager, the supervisor ensures high availability, rapid incident response, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining network stability, optimizing performance, and supporting new service roll‑outs. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 NOC operations, ensuring prompt detection and escalation of network incidents.
• Lead a team of 8‑10 NOC engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and shift scheduling.
• Maintain and update network monitoring tools, dashboards, and incident management workflows.
• Coordinate with field engineers and vendor support to resolve complex faults within defined SLA windows.
• Analyze network performance trends, generate reports, and recommend optimization initiatives.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident handling and root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in major network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IP networking, MPLS, LTE/5G core, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS).
• Proficiency with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a methodical approach to incident resolution.
• Effective leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising technical staff.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Education

Experience
