Job Overview

The Water Resources Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Veolia’s mission to provide reliable, safe, and sustainable water services in Mohale’s Hoek and surrounding districts. Reporting to the Water Resources Manager, the analyst will conduct data‑driven assessments, develop water balance models, and advise on optimal allocation strategies for surface and groundwater resources. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze hydrological data from rivers, wells, and rainfall stations across Mohale’s Hoek.
• Develop and maintain water balance models to forecast supply‑demand scenarios under varying climate conditions.
• Prepare technical reports and visual dashboards for senior management, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Support the design and implementation of water conservation programs, including demand‑side management and leak detection initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to assess the feasibility of new water intake structures, storage facilities, and distribution networks.

Required Skills

Education
