Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures specific to underground and surface mining activities.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and orientation for new hires, contractors, and existing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor compliance with Lesotho mining regulations, international standards such as ISO 45001, and company safety protocols.
