Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end fiber optic network design, including route planning, cable selection, and splice management.
• Coordinate site surveys, obtain permits, and liaise with local municipalities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Supervise installation teams, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues on‑site to maintain project schedules.
• Conduct testing and validation of fiber links using OTDR, power meters, and other diagnostic tools to guarantee performance standards.
• Develop detailed project documentation, including engineering drawings, bill of materials, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the procurement department to source high‑quality fiber components and negotiate contracts with suppliers.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and testing.

• Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal teams, external vendors, and government agencies.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
