Job Overview
The Brand Activation Manager will lead the design, execution, and measurement of integrated brand activation campaigns that drive consumer engagement, increase market share, and reinforce Heineken’s premium positioning in Lesotho. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Trade Marketing, Digital, and Consumer Insights to ensure cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints. The manager will be responsible for translating strategic brand objectives into memorable experiences, events, and partnerships that resonate with diverse consumer segments.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand activation plans that align with annual brand strategy and sales targets.
- Lead the conceptualization, budgeting, and execution of consumer events, experiential marketing activations, and sponsorships.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to integrate online and offline experiences, ensuring a seamless omnichannel presence.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables meet Heineken’s quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze activation performance metrics, providing actionable insights and ROI reports to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing to align activation activities with in‑store promotions and point‑of‑sale materials.
- Ensure all activations comply with local regulations, brand guidelines, and responsible drinking policies.
- Mentor junior marketing staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CIM) are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in brand management, consumer activation, or experiential marketing within the beverage or FMCG industry. Demonstrated success in leading large‑scale events and campaigns in emerging markets is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 350,000 to SSP 500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and a comprehensive retirement plan.
