Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hydraulic Systems Technician to join our specialized maintenance team in Maputsoe. This role is critical to our service delivery, ensuring that the complex hydraulic components of our heavy machinery are functioning at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on hydraulic circuits to identify leaks, pressure drops, or component failures.
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and control valves.
- Interpret complex hydraulic schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot system issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime for clients.
- Test and calibrate hydraulic systems under various load conditions to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate service records and technical reports for all completed tasks.
Required Skills
- Expertise in reading and interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
- Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic tools, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in heavy-duty industrial machinery.

- Ability to work safely in high-pressure environments and around heavy equipment.
Education
A recognized Diploma or National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Technology, or a closely related technical field is mandatory for this position.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience specifically focused on hydraulic systems within the heavy machinery or mining sector. Experience with large-scale earthmoving equipment is highly preferred.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on technical expertise and certifications.
