Job Overview
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and safety of our entire vehicle fleet within the Maputsoe region. This position is vital for maintaining our service level agreements and ensuring that every delivery is made on time and in safe condition. You will oversee a team of technicians and mechanics, managing scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and vehicle inspections. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in automotive systems and strong leadership capabilities to manage personnel and resources effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all vehicle maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective repairs.
- Manage a team of technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor vehicle usage and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Oversee inventory management for spare parts and workshop supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international transport safety regulations.

Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline is required. Professional certifications in fleet management or heavy vehicle maintenance are highly desirable.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in automotive maintenance or fleet management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Proven experience in managing large-scale vehicle fleets and technical teams is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
