Job Overview

The Education Technology Integration Specialist will spearhead the design, deployment, and support of digital learning tools across primary and secondary schools in Maseru and surrounding districts. Reporting to the Regional Learning Solutions Manager, you will collaborate with curriculum experts, IT teams, and local stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption of Pearson’s e‑learning platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EdTech integration roadmap tailored to Lesotho’s curriculum standards.
  • Conduct needs assessments, workshops, and training sessions for teachers, administrators, and support staff.
  • Configure, test, and maintain Pearson’s digital platforms, ensuring compatibility with local infrastructure.
  • Provide on‑site and remote technical support, troubleshooting issues to minimize classroom disruption.
  • Collaborate with government agencies to align projects with national education policies and funding opportunities.
  • Monitor usage analytics, generate performance reports, and recommend enhancements to improve learning outcomes.
  • Lead pilot programs, gather feedback, and scale successful initiatives across the region.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and digital pedagogy.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), cloud services, and classroom technologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Project management experience, including budgeting and timeline adherence.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive evidence‑based decisions.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Sesotho is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or specific LMS platforms are highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum of five years’ experience implementing educational technology solutions in K‑12 environments, preferably within emerging markets. Demonstrated success in leading multi‑stakeholder projects and delivering measurable improvements in student engagement and achievement.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 250,000 to 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
