Job Overview
The Aviation Safety Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs that ensure compliance with international aviation regulations and local civil aviation authority requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive safety management systems (SMS) in line with ICAO and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all operational areas.
- Analyze safety data, incident reports, and trends to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with flight crews, maintenance teams, and ground staff to implement safety improvements.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to the Lesotho Civil Aviation Authority and other regulatory agencies.
- Facilitate safety training programs and workshops for employees at all levels.
- Monitor compliance with safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Support the development of emergency response plans and crisis management protocols.
- Participate in internal and external safety investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and follow‑up.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through communication campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ICAO standards, EASA regulations, and Lesotho civil aviation requirements.

Education
