Position Summary

Google is seeking a skilled and passionate App Developer to join its team in Maseru, Lesotho. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative mobile applications and software solutions.
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX Design teams.
• Develop scalable application architectures that support business growth.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
• Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Participate in Agile Methodology processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and software development standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor application performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Support deployment activities and post-launch maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in App Development or Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Experience developing applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in Java Programming, Kotlin Development, Swift Programming, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with API Integration and cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of Git Version Control and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
