Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our growing team in Teyateyaneng. This role is critical to our manufacturing success, ensuring that all raw materials, equipment, and services are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. The successful candidate will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle to support our production schedules. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing activities to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality raw materials.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with local and international suppliers to optimize cost savings.
  • Manage and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with the production and finance departments to align procurement with budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation within the ERP system.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional certification in procurement (such as CIPS) is highly advantageous.

Experience

Candidates must possess between 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in managing complex supplier networks is essential for success in this role.

Salary

The annual salary for this position ranges from 150,000 SSP to 280,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications. This package is subject to statutory deductions.
