Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and underwrite life and general insurance applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Develop and refine underwriting guidelines, rating models, and risk assessment tools to support sustainable portfolio growth.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical support, pricing advice, and risk mitigation strategies for complex accounts.
  • Conduct detailed financial and actuarial analysis to determine appropriate premium levels and policy terms.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risk trends, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
  • Prepare comprehensive underwriting reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior underwriters and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in product development initiatives, contributing market insights and risk assessments to new insurance offerings.

Salary
