Job Overview
The Hotel Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the new Hilton property in Maputsoe, ensuring that guest experiences exceed expectations and that the hotel operates efficiently and profitably. This role reports directly to the General Manager and collaborates closely with department heads, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, and Engineering. The manager will implement Hilton’s standards, drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and lead a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
Key performance indicators include guest satisfaction scores, occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and operational cost control. The successful candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering world‑class service in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulations.
- Manage departmental budgets, forecast revenue, and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
- Drive guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback, addressing issues promptly, and fostering a culture of service excellence.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff across all operational departments, promoting career development and high performance.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop promotional strategies that increase occupancy and market share.
- Oversee inventory control, procurement, and vendor relationships to maintain quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are rigorously applied throughout the property.
- Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and improvement plans.
- Implement sustainability initiatives aligned with Hilton’s Travel with Purpose program.

Education

Minimum of five years in progressive hotel operations roles, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in a full‑service or upscale hotel environment is preferred.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and profit‑sharing opportunities are also available.
