We are seeking a highly creative and analytical E-commerce UX Designer to join our growing digital team in Maseru. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points in the current customer journey.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy.
- Optimize checkout flows and product discovery paths to maximize conversion rates.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Analyze user behavior data to iterate on design solutions and improve overall site performance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles for mobile and desktop environments.
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) methodologies and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication skills to present design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret heatmaps and user session recordings.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in e-commerce user flows and interface design.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is required. Continuous learning through professional certifications in UX/UI design is highly encouraged.
Experience
Candidates must possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, specifically within an e-commerce or high-traffic digital product environment. Proven experience in managing design systems and collaborating with cross-functional agile teams is essential for success in this role.
Salary
