Job Overview

The Data Center Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day management of Dell’s state‑of‑the‑art data center in Maseru. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of all infrastructure components, including power, cooling, networking, and server hardware. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the data center, ensuring 99.9% uptime and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff, providing coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for power, cooling, and physical security systems.
  • Monitor capacity planning, forecast growth, and recommend infrastructure upgrades to meet demand.

Required Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team‑building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
