The Wind Farm Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day performance of Vestas’ wind farm assets located near Maputsoe. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the operational team to achieve turbine availability targets of 95% or higher.
- Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- Monitor real‑time performance data, analyse trends, and implement corrective actions to optimise energy output.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with local authorities, landowners, and community stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address concerns.
- Prepare and present operational reports, KPI dashboards, and financial performance summaries to senior management.
- Manage spare parts inventory, procurement processes, and vendor contracts to minimise downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities with a focus on safety culture.
- Proficiency in SCADA systems, turbine control software, and performance monitoring tools.

Education

Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from SSP 350,000 to SSP 500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and profit‑sharing options are also available.
