Job Overview

Vodacom Lesotho is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join its Butha-Buthe branch. This role is critical in protecting the company’s digital assets, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security systems to detect vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate incident response protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and updates.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on secure digital practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms and incident response protocols.

Education

Experience

3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role. Experience in telecommunications or large-scale IT environments is preferred.

Salary

10,000 – 15,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
