Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources.
  • Develop actionable threat reports and briefings for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with incident response, SOC, and engineering teams to prioritize and remediate threats.
  • Maintain and update threat intelligence platforms and knowledge bases.
  • Conduct threat‑modeling and risk assessments for emerging technologies.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of malware analysis, threat actors, and attack vectors.
  • Proficiency with threat intelligence tools such as MISP, ATT&CK, and SIEM platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report‑writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of regional cyber threat landscape, especially in Southern Africa.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GCTI) are highly desirable.

Experience

3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in threat intelligence, cyber threat analysis, or a related security role. Experience in a consulting or multinational environment is a plus.

Salary

SSP 85,000 – 115,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
