Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Specialist to join our growing team in Mafeteng. This role is critical for our operations, as you will be responsible for evaluating the potential environmental consequences of proposed projects and providing actionable mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental baseline studies and impact assessments for industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all project activities comply with national environmental legislation.
- Monitor field data and analyze ecological trends to predict potential environmental risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to integrate sustainability into project design.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to address community concerns regarding environmental changes.

Education

Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or impact assessment. Proven experience in managing large-scale environmental audits and working within the mining or energy sectors is highly desirable. Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and professional qualifications.
