We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Maseru, Lesotho.
Job Overview
The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental conservation and management plans for our projects and programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and conservation, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
The Environmental Scientist will also be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our environmental conservation and management plans, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental conservation and management plans for our projects and programs
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and monitoring and evaluation of environmental conservation and management plans
- Provide recommendations for improvement of environmental conservation and management plans
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve environmental conservation and management goals
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental science and conservation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and management
