Job Overview

The Infrastructure Finance Analyst will support the evaluation, structuring, and monitoring of large‑scale infrastructure investments in Lesotho and the broader Southern African region. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for infrastructure projects, incorporating capital structure, cash flow, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, including market, regulatory, and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, risk‑adjusted return calculations, and recommendation reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate due‑diligence processes with legal, technical, and environmental advisors.

  • Support the preparation of loan agreements, guarantees, and other financing instruments.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (Excel, VBA) and familiarity with Bloomberg or similar data platforms.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of African infrastructure financing frameworks, public‑private partnership (PPP) structures, and ESG considerations.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French or local languages is an advantage.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Candidates holding a Master’s degree (e.g., MSc Finance, MBA) or professional certifications such as CFA or CPA will be given priority.
