Job Overview

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead all regulatory activities for Pfizer Lesotho, ensuring that products comply with local and international standards. This role involves preparing and submitting dossiers, liaising with the Lesotho Ministry of Health, and providing strategic guidance on regulatory pathways for new and existing products. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regulatory strategies for product registration, lifecycle management, and market access in Lesotho.
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory dossiers, including INDs, NDAs, and variations, ensuring compliance with local guidelines.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Lesotho Ministry of Health and other regulatory authorities.
• Provide regulatory guidance to R&D, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams throughout product development.
• Monitor changes in legislation, guidelines, and industry standards, and implement necessary updates.
• Lead internal audits and inspections related to regulatory compliance.
• Represent Pfizer Lesotho at industry conferences, workshops, and regulatory meetings.

Required Skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Lesotho’s pharmaceutical regulations and international guidelines (e.g., ICH, WHO).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Sesotho is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Leadership experience with a collaborative, cross‑functional approach.
• Proficiency with regulatory submission software and document management systems.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., RAC, RAPS) is highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands‑on experience in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with exposure to both local and global regulatory environments. Experience working with the Lesotho Ministry of Health or similar regulatory bodies is a strong advantage.

Salary
