Key Responsibilities

• Design and model renewable energy systems (solar, wind, hybrid) using industry-standard software.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new energy projects, including site assessments and resource analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate energy storage solutions and grid connectivity.
• Prepare technical documentation, cost estimates, and project timelines for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental sustainability guidelines.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD and energy simulation tools (e.g., HOMER, PVsyst, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating energy generation potential and system efficiency.
• Experience with renewable energy project lifecycle management.

• Knowledge of Lesotho’s energy infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Systems.

• Proven track record in solar/wind energy system design or implementation.

Salary

280,000 – 420,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
