Job Overview

The Senior Mining Geologist will play a critical role in the technical success of our Letšeng operations. This position involves leading complex geological modeling, overseeing resource estimation, and providing expert guidance on ore body characterization. You will be responsible for integrating various datasets to create highly accurate geological models that inform our long-term mine planning and extraction strategies.   • Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Education

A minimum of a Master of Science (MSc) in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field is required. A PhD in Economic Geology is highly advantageous for this senior-level position.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in mineral exploration or mine geology, specifically within hard-rock or diamond mining environments. Proven experience in resource estimation and 3D geological modeling is essential.
